LEA designs a wide variety of point and wide area sources encompassing a broad range of applications in different sectors of activity, including calibration of a, ß, . and X-ray detectors (ionization chambers, Geiger-Müller and proportional counters, scintillation counters, solid-state counters, surface contamination meters, etc.) and checking of gamma camera orientation

Designed for calibration of the full range of a, ß, . and X-ray detectors (ionization chambers, Geiger-Müller and proportional counters, scintillation counters, solid-state counters, etc.), standard sources are classified as follows :

• alpha sources,
• beta sources,
• gamma sources,
• X-ray sources.
• reference wide area sources for radiation protection

Sources are either point sources (active diameter up to 10 mm), or wide area sources (active diameter > 10 mm).
