Sealed sources

LEA can supply sealed sources for a range of industrial or research applications on request. All sources are approved as “special sources” under IAEA regulations, or as “sealed sources” in accordance with ISO 2919/NF M61-002 classification. Sealed sources are leak-tested (wet wipe test and immersion test) in accordance with ISO 9978.
LEA will obtain IRSN approval to import sources of this type, and guarantees to take back spent sources after 10 years' use at the latest.
