Kits of gamma sources

• For activity calibration

The kits contain nine point sources (active diameter 3 mm) selected to cover the widest possible range of gamma energies and enable plotting of the activity calibration curve of gamma spectrometers as a function of gamma energy.

Kits of gamma sources also enable plotting of efficiency/energy curves. For this, certain decay scheme parameters are required for the radionuclides used (for example number of photons per disintegration).

• For efficiency measurements

The kits of gamma sources enable direct, high-precision plotting of the efficiency/energy curves of gamma spectrometers without requiring the decay scheme parameters for the radionuclides used.
Each kit contains ten point sources selected to cover the widest possible range of gamma energies.
